Colourful People was set up by Melek Usta in 2000. Her clear mission: to make visible the available potential that is still being under-utilized. Just imagine, women and immigrants make up 75% of the labour market in the Randstad, yet only a marginal percentage of this 75% are to be found in middle and higher management positions. Colourful People has set itself the objective of spanning the bridge between qualified and available potential and Dutch employers.
