Procedure
Phase 1: Inventory phase
We start by evaluating personal needs. In a thorough session with the candidate we first discuss the educational and work background. From here, and in two follow-up sessions, we work together towards gaining further insight into the next career step. We name desires and possibilities, always in combination with ambition and a sense of realism, and with a view to inspiration and content. Outplacement, for us, is chiefly a matter of creating clarity and opportunities.
After each of the three sessions, the Colourful People consult delivers a clear report to the client and the candidate.
Phase 2: Concrete meetings with potential employers
We strive to arrange at least two meetings with potential employers every month. This we do for a maximum of three months.
It is important for the relevant professional to get to know a possible new working environment. These meetings are of an introductory and job-interview nature. Our years of contact with employers in various sectors enable us to make specific appointments with each candidate.
As process supervisor, the consultant is present at at least 75% of the meetings and provides both client and candidate with a clear report.
Phase 3: Conclusion phase
After a maximum of three months the outplacement project is concluded with two assessment discussions: one between the client and the consultant, the other between the candidate and the consultant.
The consultant makes a report of both discussions for the benefit of the client and the candidate.
In the case of successful mediation, the consultant has 2 performance reviews with the candidate: one a few weeks after employment commenced; the other after six months.
